Being able to view, filter, report, and analyze the inventory of “withdrawn” DERs from the SIR inventory would be useful.
DER interconnection applications are withdrawn for a multitude of reasons; the ability to view, report on, and analyze withdrawn DERs against other criteria such as interconnection costs, AHJs, and other criteria may reveal narrative patterns that demonstrate the specific challenges that DER developers face. These narratives may help inform discussion and solutioning efforts to expedite successful DER planning and installation.
